After spending over three and a half decades on this earth I’ve learned one thing for sure.
We lie to ourselves ALL THE TIME.
We tell ourselves a story and write a narrative that just isn’t true.
It could be…
“I’m just so shy and scared to try new things so that’s just how I’ll always be.”
“That’s how I’ve always been.”
Of course that’s a bunch of bullcrap.
Anybody can change things if they truly want to.
We also lie to ourselves about how this week or this month we’re finally going to get serious about a diet or workout program.
After the holiday.
